Homework 10

Ginger... yet again. Here I placed her on a flower, with a crown on her head. You see this as you peer throught a B+W window from one of the many California missions. The text displays how she is treated... like a queen.

Homework 5

Here I took a picture that my grandfather took of my Grandma (right), mom (middle), and aunt (left) many years ago. Ever since I first saw that picture I loved it. I took a picture of sunflowers and put it on top, lowering the opacity and added the quote that I found. I thought the quote matched perfectly.

Homework 4

Here is another duotone. This time Schatz is running into the flower, and ginger is behind watching him. I love taking macro shots of flowers and pics of doggies.

Ginger and a Flower

Here I took a picture of my Mom's dog Ginger running and added in a flower like she is running into it. She is a crazy dog and I thought it would work well for her. The color is a little off from how I originally did it in photoshop, but thats okay. This was my assignment for homework 3.

California Missions

Above is my "historical collage" midterm project. I used photos I had taken from various California Missions to create this piece. I selected various objects from my photos and transplanted them into my collage. Some images I changed the opacity on to show the effect of what used to be. All images I tweaked the brightness/contrast on, and I added my text in the top left corner to invite everyone to take part in California's historical missions and not to let them continue to sit and fall apart.
